Allantoin
A botanical extract of Comfrey, it also occurs in wheat sprouts, tobacco seed and sugar beets. It may also be produced synthetically from Uric Acid. It is used for its healing properties and also to alleviate irritated skin as it has soothing and softening properties. Allantoin also promotes growth of skin cells giving it anti aging characteristics.
